Join an expert from our landscape team on a two hour walking tour of the Chatsworth Park. The tour will focus on the flora and fauna found in the landscape, and the landscape team will share how they manage the vast estate which includes 1000 acres of parkland, the nine mile boundary and the river Derwent.
This walking tour will take place on the following dates:
- Thursday 1 June | 10am to 12pm - fully booked
- Thursday 14 September | 10am to 12pm
£15 per person
As a small group tour (max 20 attendees) there will be plenty of opportunity to speak to our landscape team and ask questions about the estate and their roles.
The tour will take place whatever the weather so please dress appropriately. We recommend sturdy boots or wellies and warm wet weather clothes. The route has some little inclines and is mostly walking on gravel track, grass and tarmac. Unsuitable for buggies or wheelchairs. Please meet at the bottom of Stable Hill near the park picnic shop at 9.50am.
