Learn all about keeping your own animals in this workshop at the farmyard. This will be a great hands-on experience meeting some of the farmyard animals.
This session includes a picnic lunch from Chatsworth Farm Shop and is suitable for anyone aged 16 and over.
Each of our keeper days will cover:
- What you need to get started
- Animal breeds to suit your needs
- Feeding and housing
- Basic health care
- Breeding
- Costs involved in keeping
- Regulations and documentation required
