About the workshop

Join us for a fun and creative wet felting workshop, perfect for beginners or experienced crafters.

You'll have the opportunity to experiment with merino wool and other special fibres to create a beautifully textured piece of art.

Choose from themes such as landscapes, florals, or seascapes. Inspirational examples will be shown on the day, but you are welcome to bring your own photographs to work from.

You will learn the process of using water and soap to bind merino wool fibres together. Your finished piece can be transformed into a wall hanging, cushion, bag, or you will be offered the option of framing your finished work, please note that there will be an additional cost for framing.

All materials are provided. No previous experience of felting is necessary.

Meeting point and refreshments

Please meet at the top garden gates (near the Stables) at 9.50am for a prompt 10am start.

Tickets include tea and coffee throughout the sessions.

We will break for lunch. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch, alternatively, the Carriage House Café offers hot meals, soup, and sandwiches.

Accessibility

The Old Potting Shed (our base for the session) is a step-free, accessible venue with an accessible toilet.
