Whilst much of its acreage is devoted to the exceptionally beautiful hills and dales of the Peak District National Park; woven into this landscape are a wealth of attractive towns and villages offering historic mills and museums, art galleries, heritage railways, fascinating mineral caves and a host of other distractions. Of course, there are plenty of great shopping and dining experiences to be enjoyed too.
