From 29 May, our car parks and Park picnic shop will reopen with increased safety measures in place in order to protect the health and safety of our visitors and staff, and enable safe social distancing.
There will be a strict limit on the number of cars allowed in the car parks. All visitors, including Blue Badge holders, must book car park tickets online before arrival; no tickets will be available to purchase on site at Chatsworth. Anyone arriving without a ticket will not be able to access the car parks.
Dedicated Blue Badge car parking is available at the house car park.
Toilets and hand wash stations
To enable social distancing, we have installed temporary individual toilet units, including one accessible, and a hand wash station near the house entrance. We have also located temporary toilets, including one accessible, at Calton Lees car park. All permanent toilet facilities remain closed.
There are also toilets and hand wash stations at the estate farm shop.
