The garden is open, although some areas are temporarily closed including the glass houses and Maze, and we have some one way systems in place, in order the enable safe social distancing. These are signposted in the garden.

Covid-19 update
The garden, estate farm shop, gift shops and select restaurants and cafes with increased safety measures in place in order to protect the health and safety of our visitors and staff, and enable safe social distancing.
Car parks
There will be a strict limit on the number of cars allowed in the car parks. All visitors, including Blue Badge holders, must book car park tickets online before arrival; no tickets will be available to purchase on site at Chatsworth. Anyone arriving without a ticket will not be able to access the car parks.
Dedicated Blue Badge car parking is available at the house car park.
Toilets and hand wash stations
To enable social distancing, we have installed temporary individual toilet units, including one accessible, and a hand wash station near the house entrance and in the garden. We have also located temporary toilets, including one accessible, at Calton Lees car park. All permanent toilet facilities remain closed.
There are also toilets and hand wash stations at the estate farm shop.
Garden and stables
The access buggy as well as wheelchairs and mobility scooters for hire will not be available until further notice.
Carers
Admission is free for carers as normal. Do not include carers when booking online as they will be given complimentary admission on arrival.
