On the day of Her Majesty The Queen’s funeral, 19 September 2022, Chatsworth House, Garden, Farmyard and Playground will be closed, as will the Chatsworth Estate Farm Shop and cafe, and the shops and restaurants at Chatsworth and Peak Village.
The car parks at the house, Calton Lees and Peak Village will be open, but will not be staffed and there will be no charge for parking.
Anyone who had booked tickets to visit Chatsworth on this date will automatically be refunded. There is no need to contact us.
A book of condolence is available for signing in the Burlington Room at The Stables for those visitors who wish to do so. In line with guidelines issued by Buckingham Palace, this book will form part of the Devonshire Archive where it will be preserved for future generations.
