The seedlings gardening club will take place from 4pm to 5.15pm on the following dates:

£6.50 per child | £2.50 per adult
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Max 1 adult per child./
Join us at our after-school gardening club where children will explore the Kitchen and Cutting Garden, learn how to grow different flowers, fruits and vegetables, and discover the abundance of wildlife at Chatsworth.
These sessions are suitable for children aged 4 to 7.
The event will take place at the Chatsworth Stickyard, which is located in Stand Wood near the farmyard. There is a fairly steep incline to reach the venue – please contact education@chatsworth.org if you have any access requirements.

Birds, beaks and treats
22 & 23 February
Children will be able to explore Stand wood and see how many species of bird they can spot, before making some seed treats to take home.

Little Pips gardening club
A fortnightly gardening club for children aged 3 to 5. Explore the garden, make friends and learn new skills while making, growing and having fun.

Mini makers art club
A fortnightly art club for children aged 3 to 5. Develop their imagination, creativity, self-expression and communication skills through a range of creative activities and cognitive play.

Squirrels nature club
A monthly nature club for children with additional needs to explore and learn about the wildlife at Chatsworth.

Children's paper posies workshop
3 & 11 April
Have fun learning how to make a posy of bright spring flowers using paper and card.

Witch's garden: folklore and potions
4, 5, 11 & 12 April
Children will discover which plants were used through the ages for spells and magic, before creating their own potion.

Children's flower crown making
30 & 31 May
Create a floral crown using flowers from the Kitchen and Cutting Garden.

Children's bird and butterfly decorations workshop
31 May
Make a colourful set of paper birds or butterflies to hang as decorations.

Prehistoric plants children's walk
1, 4, 15, 23 & 29 August
Children will explore Chatsworth and discover some of the plants and trees that existed when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Bugs and botany children's walk
2, 16, 22, 25 & 30 August
Explore the Kitchen and Cutting Garden and learn more about the abundance of plants and insects you'll discover there.

Bats and beasties children's walk
8, 9 & 11 August
A nocturnal walk for children where they'll learn more about the creatures that visit Chatsworth at night.
