10am to 4pm | £120 per person

Design and prepare an intaglio printing plate using recycled Tetra Pak cartons in this artist-led introductory workshop.

About the session

With guidance from your expert tutor, you'll learn intaglio inking and printing techniques, working with the etching press to create a series of unique prints.

You will also experiment with alternative tools such as craft presses, so you can continue printing intaglio at home in a practical way.

We will provide a range of inspirational images to work from, but you are welcome to bring your own ideas and images (A5 size maximum).

All materials will be provided.

Please bring an apron to protect your clothes as this printing technique can get messy!

Meeting point and refreshments

Please meet at the top garden gates (near the Stables) at 9.50am for a prompt 10am start.

Tickets include tea and coffee throughout the session.

We will break for lunch. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch; alternatively, the Carriage House Café offers hot meals, soup, and sandwiches.

Accessibility

The Old Potting Shed (our base for the session) is a step-free, accessible venue with an accessible toilet.

If you have any questions about your specific needs or require a carer ticket, please email [email protected]
