Your support
In these unprecedented times, we would like to thank all of our Friends for your continued support. You play an enormous part in our ability to open Chatsworth for everyone to enjoy.
As you will know, every penny of your Friends membership goes to support the Chatsworth House Trust, the charity dedicated to the long-term preservation of Chatsworth House, the Devonshire Collections, garden, woodlands and park for the long-term benefit of the public.
The income from your membership not only goes towards operating costs, but also to the essential conservation and restoration of the house, garden and park to ensure their preservation for future generations.
Last year alone we were able to begin the extensive project of conserving the Elizabethan Terrace, one of the earliest remnants of the 16th century garden, conserve eight Old Master drawings and much more, all thanks to your generosity.
Please use the link below to view the 2019 annual report, which provides further information about the Chatsworth House Trust, and the work we have been able to undertake, thanks in no small part to our Friends.
Six months free
Chatsworth thrives due to the generosity of our Friends, and we want to ensure that you all can enjoy the estate as part of your membership benefits. As a result of not being able to open, and the potential for Friends to need to self-isolate, we will be offering all Friends who renew their membership between 1 April 2020 and 31 March 2021 an additional six months membership free of charge.
Friends team out of office
We are all out of the office at this time in order to help contain the spread of the coronavirus. Please avoid contacting us until further notice. We will let you know when we are able to return safely to work.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Chatsworth soon.
