Event details
The bats and beasties children's walk will take place from 8.45pm to 10pm on the following dates:
- Friday 11 August
£7.50 per child, £7.50 per accompanying adult
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Begin the evening by learning more about some of the fascinating creatures you might encounter on your nocturnal adventure. Then explore Stand Wood to listen for owls, spot moths, look for badgers and use bat detectors to locate different bat species.
Please bring a torch and wear appropriate footwear.
The event will begin at the Chatsworth Stickyard, which is located in Stand Wood near the farmyard. There is a fairly steep incline to reach the venue – please contact [email protected] if you have any access requirements.
