Join us in the autumn to explore Stand wood, discovering ancient trees and having a go at listening to them with stethoscopes. Children will also look for different types of fungi, learn more about lichen and mosses, and keep their eyes and ears peeled for woodland birds.

The meeting place for this event is Chatsworth Stickyard, which is located in Stand Wood near the farmyard. There is a fairly steep incline to reach the venue – please contact education@chatsworth.org if you have any questions regarding accessibility.
