The Dance Free team invites you to connect with the water themes of our Cascade project.
Your flow journey in the gardens will include a series of calming activities to encourage you to connect with your emotions via movement, tuning to the breath and sensory awareness of being close to water. This will be followed by guided movement activities that will mirror the flow of the water and respond to nature’s beauty, either through movement, sound, or expression of words within the quieter areas of the garden near ponds and waterfalls.
No prior experience is necessary. Please meet at the top garden gate at 9.45am.
The Dance Free sessions involve gentle movement. Please email education@chatsworth.org if you have any questions about accessibility.

A Celebrating the Cascade event
Our new Celebrating the Cascade wellness sessions have been designed to delight and inspire you. We invite you to enjoy the calm and beauty of nature in the garden and wider landscape. Find balance as you step away from daily routines and pause with us by still and flowing waters. We invite you to open your heart and mind to the environment and connect with our wonderful surroundings.
The Celebrating the Cascade project is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery Players, the project is working to restore the Cascade, safeguarding it for the enjoyment of future generations and enabling more people to get involved with Chatsworth.
