Explore the Chatsworth Garden and Stand Wood, discovering plants and trees and how they have been used through the ages.

Learn how many oak trees you need to build a ship, which tree bark you can clean your teeth with and the best branches to make a bendy bow! The workshop will end with a woodland craft session at the Stickyard.

The meeting place for this event is Chatsworth Stickyard, which is located in Stand Wood near the farmyard. There is a fairly steep incline to reach the venue. The walk in Stand Wood may include inclines and uneven ground. Unfortunately this event is not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs. If you have any questions about accessibility please email [email protected].

We will be going out whatever the weather so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
