Experience a magical family visit to see Father Christmas at the farmyard, plus entry to the decorated house and garden light trail.
The Storytime+ with Father Christmas experience will take place on the following dates/times*:

2pm to 2.45pm
£40 per child
£49.50 per adult
Storytime autism friendly sessions without house and garden access are also available.
About Relaxed Storytime+ with Father Christmas
This is a quieter session of our Storytime with Father Christmas event, offering the same magical experience in a more relaxed environment. Fewer tickets are available, reducing the overall group size, so we're able to offer more support to individual children. Background music and lighting levels will be reduced.
Father Christmas and his elves have taken time out of their busy schedule to call into the Oak Barn at the farmyard. Make yourself comfortable, as he has a special festive story he'd like to share with you and the other visiting families.
Children will have the opportunity to meet Father Christmas and have their photograph taken with him.
The elves will help children make some magic reindeer food (ready to leave out on Christmas Eve), and have a small gift for each child to take home. Adult ticketholders will also receive a hot drink voucher, redeemable from any Chatsworth catering outlet
These sessions are available to autistic children or those with special educational needs, and their families.
This session is an upgrade to our usual Storytime with Father Christmas, and includes:
Access to the decorated house at any time on the day of your visit*
Access to the garden and the garden light trail at any time on the day of your visit*
Access to the farmyard and adventure playground at any time on the day of your visit*
Tickets include parking for one vehicle per transaction.
Tickets also include access to the Christmas market on the day of your visit. The market runs from 7 November - 13 December.
Important information
All children ages 1 to 16 years must book tickets for this event and must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
Christmas is the busiest time of year at Chatsworth and during the market, parking arrangements are different to those you may be used to.

* Please check opening and last entry times for the market, house, garden and farmyard when planning your day. Please ensure you leave enough time to visit the garden light trail before the garden closes.
Meeting point
Please meet at the farmyard entrance 10 minutes before your session time. Latecomers will not be admitted, and no refunds will be given.
Accessibility
The Oak Barn is located on the upper level of the farmyard. The upper level is accessible by lift. Accessible toilets are available. If you have any questions about access or require a carer ticket, please email [email protected]
